About me
Ingrinette has been a licensed cosmetologist for over 20 years. She received training and instruction at the nationally accredited Marinello School of Beauty in Los Angeles, California. She has worked extensively with hair care lines such as Clairol, Wella, Sebastian, Joico, Avalon, and Design.
She is certified in all of these essentials. Her professional career began in 1988 as an assistant at "Alannah's Hair Design", where she began to build her clientele and soon became an Independent Contractor. While at Alannah's Hair Design, she also became an educator for Clairol Professional in 1991. Joining the team part-time, she has traveled to Cosmetology Schools and Salons, teaching various color classes. She has also had the opportunity to work all the National Hair Shows, such as The Long Beach (ISSE) Show, The Bronner Brother's Hair Show, The Black and Gold Hair Show, and The International Cosmetology Expo, to name a few. With her expertise and experience with Clairol, she has had the opportunity to work with ADVANCED GRAY SOLUTIONS, one of Clairol's TOP BRANDS, in its launching stages. She has been featured in many hair magazines
and has done several makeover shows for television. In February 1993, she pursued her dream of becoming an entrepreneur and opened a seven-station, multi-cultural salon in West Los Angeles called "A FLAIR FOR HAIR." Known for inspiring and shaping the careers of new stylists, Ingrinette offers incentives to help them grow while providing excellent client service. Continuous education is a priority for Ingrinette as she strives to remain abreast of the innovative trends in cosmetology. She closed her salon in September 2006 to expand her horizons and focus on being a creative stylist. She has worked in the entertainment industry for various award shows and benefits, such as The Soul Train Awards and the Magic Johnson AIDS Benefit in Los Angeles, where she styled Miss America's hair. She has worked on videos (Ice Cube and Queen Latifah), TV (D.L. Hughley's Comedy Central), and fashion shows (Nicole Miller). She has enjoyed styling various sports, entertainment, and modeling personalities. She has participated in many "PANTENE
TOTAL YOU TOURS", where she gets much pleasure helping young ladies with advice on their image. Finally, Ingrinette has been recognized locally and nationally for her community involvement and dedication. She has participated in Project Angel Food, The AIDS Walk, The Walk for Diabetes, The Revlon Walk, The Pajama Project, the GO RED Campaign, and The American Heart Association. Ingrinette Pope currently lives, works, and enjoys life in the City of Angels (Los Angeles, CA)
where she was born and raised.
